stoffen bloem..pompom

Werk 1 kant en de zijkanten van de strook stof af met bv een lock machine, aan de andere kant naai je een draad (of 2 draden) zodat je kan rimpelen (zet draadspanning zo laag mogelijk en de steeklengte het hoogst, rechte steek)
Trek de draden aan zodat de stof gaat rimpelen, vouw de einden om en naai ze met de hand vast.
Rol de gerimpelde strook op zodat je mooi bloem of pompom krijgt..ondertussen naai je met de hand de strook her en der vast ..draai de bloem om en zorg dat de achterkant mooi afgewerkt wordt.

my first regency dress

This is the first costume i sewn..its not ready yet..i started ribbon embroidery at the top..a lot to do!!!!!..the next time i embroid first en than sew hihi..that looks at the back nicer..im a beginner so dont know much (sadly) about the right orders ...practise practise practise!!!

Youtube is a really nice way to find some amazing ideas....like to make a beautifull titanic hair updo...or the one i found..how to tie an OBI..i think it goes verry well with a regency dress...you dont have to sew it on a dress..choose a exlusive fabric to make the OBI..and a plain white gown will look verry special..and you can change the OBI when you want.
